How do I create an account?

In the “Employers” box on the Emploi CPA home page, click on “Create your account.” You will be taken to the corresponding page, where you will fill out the “Organization information” and “Contact person information” sections and click on “Send.”
Please note that the “Organization information” section is meant to describe the organization and not the job offer.

 

Can I share my account with colleagues?

Yes, that is possible. Log in to your Employer account and click on “Contact persons” on the left-hand side of your screen.
Click on “Invite a contact person” at the bottom of the page and enter the email address of the person you want to add.

 

I cannot log in to my account, what should I do?

Make sure that you are actually in the “Employer” tab and not the “CPA or future CPA” tab. If you have just created your account, you will receive an email to activate it. If you do not receive it immediately, check your spam.
If the problem persists, call an Emploi CPA representative at 1 800-363-4688 #3033 or write to emploicpa@cpaquebec.ca.

How much does it cost to post a position?

Posting a position for CPAs costs $500 + taxes.
Posting a position for future CPAs only, for candidates completing their practical experience or on a board of directors is free. Consult our rates >

 

Are there different types of postings and what is the difference?

Yes, there are different types of postings.

  • For CPAs: $500 + taxes. Select this option when applicants need to have the CPA designation or be in the process of obtaining it. Only CPAs will be able to apply for the job offer;
  • Future CPAs: Select this option when you are looking for a candidate who is in the process of obtaining the CPA designation and who is completing their practical experience period;
  • Positions on boards of directors.

What visibility options are available?

We offer three visibility options, including:

  • Featured Offer: Your offer is prominently featured on the job board for 5 days;
  • Visibility +: Your organization’s logo is visible on the home page for 30 days;
  • Featured Offer and Visibility +.

How do I create a job offer?

On the Emploi CPA home page, click on “Access your account” in the “Employers” section.
Once you have logged in to your account, on the “Account summary” page, click on “Post a job.”

Can I change my job offer once it has been posted?

Yes, it is possible to change a posting. Log in to your Employer account. Right-click on the gear icon to the right of your posted job and click on “Edit.”
However, the application has certain limits. You can edit the text of your job description, but if you want to edit the position title, call an Emploi CPA representative at 1 800-363-4688 #3033 or write to emploicpa@cpaquebec.ca.

 

I want to extend my job offer, is it possible?

Yes, it is possible to extend your offer. Log in to your Employer account, right-click on the gear icon to the right of your posted position, and click on “Promote or extend.”

 

I want to post a position for less than 30 days, is that possible?

Yes, that is possible. When you enter the information for your job posting, there is an “Application deadline” box. You can enter another date if it is less than 30 days.

 

How can I get my offer to appear in the Featured Offer or Visibility + section or in the Featured Offer and Visibility + section?

When you post a position, in step 3, you can choose whatever option you like.

 

My organization’s logo does not appear in the offer I just posted.

If your logo was not uploaded in step 2 of the job offer, you will not be able to add it afterward. You must call an Emploi CPA representative at 1 800-363-4688 #3033 or write to emploicpa@cpaquebec.ca.

 

How can I preview the French and/or English text before posting it?

You need to complete stYou need to complete steps 1 and 2 before you can preview the text.
After step 2, click on “Save and continue” at the bottom of the page.
You will only be able to preview the text in step 3 by clicking on “Preview” on the left side of your screen or in the final step before posting.

 

Is it possible to save my offer without posting it?

Yes, that is possible. To save your offer as a draft, you need to have completed at least one (1) step.

 

How can I see my drafts?

In your Employer account, click on “Job offer” on the left hand side of your screen. In the search criteria, select your desired status.

 

I would like to change the email address or the URL where candidates can send their document.

Log in to your Employer account. On the “Account summary” page and to the right of your posted position, right-click on the gear icon and click on “Edit.” In step 3, you can change your email address in the “Receiving applications” section.

 

Can I put links to our organization’s websites and social media?

Yes. You can enter the information that you want in the job offer description.

How can I consult the applications that I save in my Employer account?

Go to the “Account summary” page of your account and look in your job offers; click on the title of your position. At the bottom of the page, you will see the number of applications.

I would like to pay my invoice: Which payment methods are accepted?

Two methods are accepted:

  • by credit card (Visa or MasterCard) directly online in the last step of your posting process;
  • by cheque payable to the Quebec CPA Order within 30 days of the invoice date.

If you have chosen the “payment by cheque” option, you can still go back into your account and pay the invoice online at a later date.
Click on “Invoice” on the left-hand side of your screen and then on “Pay the invoice” on the right-hand side of your screen.

 

I would like to change the information on my invoice

Call an Emploi CPA representative at 1 800-363-4688 #3033 or write to emploicpa@cpaquebec.ca.
When you register/create your profile, you can enter a different billing address than your organization’s address.
